What goes in a birthday memory book
Start with the cover: the name and the age, big enough to read across the room, over the best photo of the day. Then a short letter to the birthday person, in your own words. After that, one page for each moment: the cake, the candles, the gifts, the table, the people, the last sparkler of the night. Each photo gets a short line under it, so the book still makes sense in ten years.
This template keeps that order for you. It has big single photos, pairs, a full-page photo and pages of three, so the book never feels like a phone gallery. Three pages are made for video: a film in a print, a wall of four little films that play silently until someone taps one, and a full page that starts by itself when someone turns to it. Then a page of notes from family and friends, and a thank-you page to close the book.
Photos, a video and music
Each moment can hold up to 10 photos. The page shows the first one, and anyone reading the link can tap it to see the rest. In the PDF, the extra photos are printed on “More photos” pages at the end.
Put the video of the song or the candles on its page: select the photo there, choose Swap for a video, and paste a YouTube or Vimeo link or pick a file from your phone. When someone turns to that page on the link, the video plays across the whole page. The book comes with a gentle guitar song that plays as the pages turn. Keep it, pick another song from the music library or upload your own MP3.
Share it or print it
When it is ready, send the link on WhatsApp, by email or in the family group. It opens on any phone as a book with real page turns, and nobody needs an app or an account. You can also download a PDF to print at home or at a print shop. In the PDF, a video shows as a picture.

Is the birthday memory book template free?
Yes. Making the book, sharing the link and downloading the PDF are free, and there is no watermark on the pages.
Can I change the name, the age and the colours?
Yes. Type the name and the age in the title, pick other colours, and change any word, photo or page. Add pages for more moments, or remove the ones you do not need.
Can I make it on my phone?
Yes. It works in the browser on a phone or a computer, with nothing to install.
Can I use it for something other than a birthday?
Yes. The pages work for an anniversary, a baby’s first year or a family trip. Change the title and the words, and add your own photos.
