What makes a catalogue look luxury

Luxury is mostly what you leave out. These designs use deep colours like emerald, burgundy, navy and black, with gold or champagne details, and give each product plenty of room.

Fewer products on a page, bigger photos and an elegant heading font do the rest. A velvet or paper texture adds the feel of a printed book.

Photos that look expensive

Take one product per photo on a plain dark or warm background, in soft light from a window. Use the same background for every product, so the pages read as one collection.

Crop close for jewellery and beauty, and show the whole piece for furniture and fashion. Your photos replace the samples, and the colours and layout stay.

For printing

Download the PDF in HD for a print shop. Dark pages look best on thick matte paper, so ask your printer for one proof page first.
